In New Delhi: Veteran actor and filmmaker G Marimuthu passed away after a heart arrest at a private hospital in Chennai, according to news agency ANI. At a city-owned private hospital this morning about 8:30, he passed away after a heart arrest. He passed out while voice-dubbing for a television show, and was then taken to a private hospital in Vadapalani where he was pronounced dead, according to ANI. Tamil film industry professionals paid respect to the actor. On X, formerly known as Twitter, superstar Rajinikanth paid tribute to his Jailer co-star: "Marimuth was a beautiful person. I was stunned when he died. My sincere sympathies to his grieving family," he stated.
