Designers of the late Princess Diana’s wedding dress settle dispute over drawings of the gown

LONDON (AP) — The onetime husband and spouse group who designed Princess Diana’s wedding ceremony gown have settled their dispute over the sale of the drawings for the robe.

David Emanuel had filed a lawsuit within the U.Okay. courts towards his ex-wife Elizabeth Emanuel, claiming that she had infringed his copyright by reproducing drawings of the designs on which that they had collaborated. The drawings, together with these for Diana’s wedding ceremony gown, have been put up for public sale with out his consent, he stated.

The pair introduced Friday that that they had settled the case “amicably.” Phrases of the settlement weren’t launched.

Diana’s gown, created for her 1981 wedding ceremony to the Prince of Wales, was an iconic creation that may all the time be related to the late princess.
