Peacock has tapped Emmy Award-winning actress Keke Palmer to star and government produce in a collection remake of the 1989 movie The Burbs.

The Burbs comedy/thriller collection, an adaptation of the film of the identical title starring Tom Hanks and Carrie Fisher, follows a younger couple returning to the husband’s childhood residence whose world is quickly upended by new neighbors who transfer in subsequent door and alter the neighborhood dynamics, stated Peacock. 

Brian Grazer, who produced the movie model of The Burbs, will function government producer of the collection alongside Palmer, Celeste Hughley, Seth MacFarlane, Kristen Zolner and Natalie Berkus. Dana Olsen, the author of the 1989 movie, will function co-executive producer on the collection.
