Laredo ‘officers’ Myers and Leatherface share Halloween safety tips

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – The Laredo Police Division bought into the Halloween spirit, with officers dressed as well-known horror characters, akin to Michael Myers hiding behind a palm tree and Leatherface using a patrol motorbike.

“Issues are beginning to get spooky on the Laredo Police Division! Joyful Halloween, Laredo! Let’s preserve it secure and enjoyable for all,” they posted, reminding residents to remain alert and report something suspicious.

Laredo PD shared these Halloween security ideas:

  • Look ahead to pedestrians – Trick-or-treaters might be on the transfer.
  • Keep distraction-free – Put cell telephones away whereas driving.
  • Respect college zones – Many children begin early.
  • Comply with all alerts – Cease utterly at intersections.
  • No consuming and driving – Plan for a secure journey residence.
  • Drive sluggish – Be able to cease if children run into the road.

With their mixture of enjoyable and security, Laredo Police hope Halloween stays spooky and secure for all.
