At the 1984 Billboard Awards, Cyndi Lauper was consulted with the Best New Artist award and the Best Female Performance for the tune ‘On numerous occasions’.
In 1985, Cyndi Lauper won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. She won her second Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album in 2014 for ‘Unusual Boots’.
