Bid awarded to American Safety & Gate Firm for Rheault Farm Park fencing substitute challenge 

As a part of the consent agenda, Commissioners voted 5-0 to award a bid to American Safety & Gate Firm for the fencing substitute challenge at Rheault Farm Park.    

Proposals have been reviewed from two fencing firms and employees advisable the bid be awarded to American Safety & Gate Firm within the quantity of $61,450. The bid met all specs, is the bottom bid acquired, and is inside the budgeted quantity of $116,500.  

The challenge includes the substitute of the north and east fence traces at Rheault Farm Park. The Metropolis of Fargo and the Fargo Park District each personal parcels on which the shared use paths will probably be constructed. As a part of the consent agenda, Commissioners voted 5-0 to grant permission for employees to use for 2 grants: the Garrison Diversion Conservancy District Recreation Grant and the Out of doors Heritage Fund Grant.  

The Garrison Diversion Conservancy District Recreation grants could also be requested for brand new recreation services and/or the enhancement or growth of present services. This matching grant can be utilized for initiatives situated inside the Garrison Diversion boundaries. If awarded, the Fargo Park District will use funds to improve the dugouts at Fields #3 and #4 (east fields) and so as to add a picnic shelter on the Anderson Softball Advanced in 2025.  

North Dakota’s Out of doors Heritage Fund was established in 2013 as a multi-million-dollar program to supply grants to state companies, tribal governments, political subdivisions, and nonprofit organizations.
