The celebrities are out and shining vibrant like diamonds on the 77th annual Cannes Movie Competition in France.

The large occasion, which has been dubbed essentially the most prestigious movie gathering, kicked off on Tuesday, Could 14, and is slated to run till Saturday, Could 25. The pageant previews new movies in all genres from all world wide.

On the official opening ceremony on Tuesday, which additionally served as a screening for Le Deuxième Acte (The Second Act), stars together with Greta Gerwig, Jane Fonda and Meryl Streep introduced their style A-game.

Gerwig, 40, sparkled in a plum-colored sequin robe by Saint Laurent, which she paired with jewellery from Chopard. Fonda, 86, for her half, wore a beaded jumpsuit by Elie Saab, and Streep, 74 appeared timeless in an ivory wrap robe.
