Will schools, banks, post offices be open?

Tuesday is Election Day, and everybody’s bussing about casting their vote. Whereas it won’t be a federal vacation, many surprise about all these errands that may have to be run or whether or not faculties are open or not.

Will faculties be open on Election day?

Together with many different college districts in Georgia, there can be no college for college students in Athens-Clarke County public faculties on Tuesday, Nov. 5, which can be a Trainer Planning Day.

One other factor to bear in mind on Election Day is that many college and neighborhood facilities could function polling spots. It is best to verify your college district’s calendar for clarification.

Will banks, put up workplaces, UPS, and FedEx be open on Election Day?

On Nov. 5, Financial institution of America, Truist, PNC, Capital One, Wells Fargo, and others can be open throughout common hours. There may also be regular operations for on-line banks and ATM’s.

As a result of Election day isn’t a federal vacation, put up workplaces, UPS, and FedEx can be open and mail can be delivered as regular.
