4.0 magnitude earthquake rattles Ontario area, USGS says

ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) — A magnitude 4.0 earthquake rattled the Ontario space Sunday morning, jolting some residents awake.

This comes simply 5 days after a 3.1 magnitude quake struck round that very same space.

Measured at a depth of about 3.54 miles, the three:51a.m. quake was centered southeast of Ontario, in keeping with the U.S. Geological Survey. The company initially reported the temblor as a 4.3.

There have been no fast studies of serious injury.

Eyewitnesses reported feeling shaking in Ontario, Pomona, La Verne, Riverside and Anaheim Hills.

A magnitude 2.5 aftershock struck the world at 4:04 a.m., the USGS mentioned.
