'Big Meech,' Black Mafia Family co-founder, released from jail, finishing sentence in halfway house: report

Flenory was arrested in 2005, and in 2008 he was sentenced to 30 years in jail after being convicted on expenses associated to drug trafficking and cash laundering. In 2024, a decide shortened his sentence by virtually three years.

In response to the Federal Bureau of Prisons web site, Flenory is anticipated to be launched on Jan. 27, 2026.

The BMF was based in 1985 in Detroit and was led by brothers Demetrius and Terry Flenory. The crime syndicate was a drug-trafficking and money-laundering operation.

In 2000, the Flenory brothers constructed a cocaine distribution community via their Los Angeles–primarily based drug sources and their connections to Mexican drug cartels. 

However in October 2005, the Drug Enforcement Company carried out a drug raid, arresting 30 members of the BMF. Through the raid, $2 million in money and belongings, together with weapons and cocaine have been seized. That very same 12 months, the Flenory brothers have been indicted on a number of expenses. 

Demetrius and Terry have been sentenced to 30 years in jail for being leaders of the BMF legal enterprise.
