Cannes Winners, Serbian Miniseries ‘Absolute 100’ Join KVIFF Lineup

The 59th version of the Karlovy Differ Worldwide Movie Competition (KVIFF) will function key Cannes Movie Competition winners in its Horizons part and a number of motion and horror films, each new and older, for its revamped Midnight Screenings program beneath the brand new title “Afterhours.”

In the meantime, KVIFF has added the world premiere of Serbian miniseries Absolute 100 to its Particular Screenings part, marking a return of the miniseries format to that program after 4 years. Absolute 100 was created by filmmaker Srdan Golubović in collaboration with three different administrators who’re his former college students. “This dynamic thriller with political undertones follows 19-year-old Sonja, a junior champion in sport taking pictures, who takes justice into her personal arms after her household is threatened,” stated KVIFF, which is able to display the miniseries in its entirety, with the creators in attendance.
