Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing Are Returning

Extra witches are again.

Sensible Magic 2 has added Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing to its ensemble.

Wiest is reprising her function as Aunt Jet, whereas Channing reprises Aunt Franny, who play the witches that raised the Owens sisters, Sally (performed by Sandra Bullock) and Gillian (performed by Nicole Kidman) and taught them magic.

Warner Bros. announced on social media the sequel’s launch date and that Bullock and Kidman have been formally returning in Might, following the experiences in June 2024 that the celebrities have been in talks to return. Susanne Bier (The Excellent Couple, Chicken Field, In a Higher World) is directing the sequel and Bullock and Kidman are producing with Denise Di Novi, who produced the unique movie. Akiva Goldsman, who wrote the unique movie’s script, and Georgia Pritchett (Succession) penned the screenplay.

Joey King (The Act), Lee Tempo (Our bodies Our bodies Our bodies), Maisie Williams (Recreation of Thrones), Xolo Maridueña (Cobra Kai) and Solly McLeod (The Useless Don’t Harm) are additionally part of the sequel’s forged. Manufacturing is now underway.
