Indie distribution firm Leisure Squad has acquired North American rights to Walter, Grace & The Submarine, a romantic dramedy written and directed by Noah Bashore that stars Kyle Patrick, Jessie Carl, and Jonathan Connolly. Lauren Patchett can be a part of the forged.
“Set in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the movie follows Walter, a newcomer to the town, and Grace, who’s getting ready to go away city,” based on a synopsis of the film. “After an opportunity romantic weekend connects them, they bond over traumatic childhoods, unrealized skills, and shared experiences. The movie explores themes of connection and self-discovery in a contemporary Midwestern setting.”
Walter, Grace & The Submarine was produced by Gillian Noonan and Kyle Patrick. The movie is scheduled for launch on VOD platforms within the U.S. and Canada on June 10. Leisure Squad is presenting the movie to worldwide consumers throughout the Marché du Movie in Cannes.
Walter, Grace & The Submarine has received Carl a greatest appearing award on the Grand Rapids Movie Pageant.
