NEW YORK (AP) — A number of thousand Microsoft Outlook customers bumped into points with the e-mail platform Wednesday evening and Thursday morning, with some reporting issues like loading their inboxes or signing in.
Microsoft 365’s standing web page first mentioned that it was investigating a difficulty with Outlook on Wednesday evening, and later shared it was deploying a repair. However affected techniques aren’t totally again on-line but — with the corporate noting that it encountered an issue with its preliminary treatment.
“We recognized a difficulty with the preliminary repair, and we’ve corrected it,” Microsoft 365 Standing wrote on X, the platform previously referred to as Twitter, Thursday morning. “We’re persevering with to deploy the repair, and we’re carefully monitoring the deployment to make sure no additional points are encountered.”
Microsoft didn’t instantly present extra details about what had precipitated the outage. A spokesperson for Microsoft had no additional remark when reached by The Related Press on Thursday.
As of round 11:30 a.m. ET, greater than 2,770 customers worldwide had reported points with Outlook, previously additionally Hotmail, to outage tracker Downdetector.
