Is 'Woman of the Hour' a true story? We fact checked the movie

Spoiler alert! We’re discussing plot factors within the new Netflix film “Girl of the Hour” (streaming now), so beware if you have not watched it but.

Anna Kendrick’s directorial debut, “Girl of the Hour,” has an implausible plot that, sadly, is ripped proper from the headlines.

The film stars Kendrick as Sheryl, a really shut stand-in for Cheryl Bradshaw, a 28-year-old girl who in 1978 went on a well-liked TV present referred to as “The Relationship Sport.”
