BOSTON (AP) — The Boston Pink Sox suspended Jarren Duran for 2 video games on Monday with out pay after he shouted a homophobic slur to a fan behind house plate who heckled him in a loss to the Houston Astros a day earlier.
The alternate that was caught on a reside mic through the broadcast of the sport occurred when Duran — who was 0 for two with two strikeouts at that time within the sport — was on the plate within the sixth inning.
