Locarno calls its Pardi di Domani part “a significant house for expressive experimentation and modern types of cinematic poetry” and “a cornerstone” of its mission “to foster dialogue between generations and traditions and to help the filmmakers who will outline the way forward for cinematic expression.”
The version at this 12 months’s 78th version of Locarno options 40 world premieres throughout three competitions and 25 international locations, “providing audiences a glimpse into the doable pathways the cinema of the longer term may take.”
