Police say home reportedly owned by Brad Pitt was burglarized

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Police are investigating a break-in at a house reportedly owned by Brad Pitt, who has been on a globe-spanning promo tour for his new film, “F1.”

The Los Angeles Police Division confirmed they responded to a break-in Wednesday evening at a home on the 2300 block of North Edgemont Road within the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Three suspects broke into the residence via the entrance window, ransacked the house and fled with miscellaneous property, mentioned Officer Drake Madison.

Madison mentioned he couldn’t determine who owned or lived within the residence, and no data is presently out there on what was stolen.

Pitt reportedly purchased the house for $5.5 million in April 2023, in keeping with Traded, a business actual property web site.

A Pitt consultant declined remark.

Pitt has been in another country on a promotional tour for the “F1” film. He attended the worldwide premiere in London on Monday. The film will likely be in U.S. theaters Friday.

The housebreaking was first reported Thursday by NBC News.
