Romanian police raid controversial influencer Andrew Tate's home over sexual intercourse with minor, human trafficking allegations

BUCHAREST, Romania — Romanian police have raided the house of controversial influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan over new allegations towards the pair involving human trafficking and sexual activity with a minor.

The 2 males have been taken in for questioning by Romania’s anti-organized crime company, DIICOT, CNN affiliate Antena 3 reported Wednesday.

Romanian police stated in a press release that they had launched 4 residence search warrants, in Bucharest, and close by Ilfov county.

Police stated they have been investigating allegations of human trafficking, sexual activity with a minor, organizing a legal group, influencing statements and cash laundering.

The most recent allegations are understood to be along with prices already going through Tate, a self-proclaimed misogynist influencer and former kickboxer.

He, Tristan and two Romanian residents have been arrested in late 2022 and indicted in mid-2023 on prices of human trafficking, rape and organising a legal gang to sexually exploit ladies – allegations they’ve denied.

Police stated hearings in relation to the most recent allegations can be held at DIICOT headquarters, however didn’t say when.

“We make it clear that, throughout the whole legal course of, the investigated individuals profit from the procedural rights and ensures offered by the Code of Felony Process, in addition to the presumption of innocence,” Romanian police stated in a press release.

Escorted by police because the brothers left their residence earlier on Wednesday, Andrew Tate instructed reporters that “two years, no victims, no photos of victims, the case falls aside and this all occurs once more.”
