Walton Goggins, Jennifer Tilly Pay Tribute

Hollywood is mourning the lack of Michael Madsen, who died Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed. He was 67.

The actor, identified for his work in lots of Quentin Tarantino movies like Reservoir CaninesKill Invoice, The Hateful Eight and As soon as Upon a Time in Hollywood, was discovered unresponsive by deputies responding to a 911 name at his residence in Malibu. His rep informed THR Madsen had “a cardiac arrest.”

Following the information, stars and household took to social media to share tributes to Madsen. His sister and Candyman actress Virginia Madsen posted a photo of them together with her mother, writing partly within the caption, “He was thunder and velvet. Mischief wrapped in tenderness. A poet disguised as an outlaw. A father, a son, a brother — etched in contradiction, tempered by love that left its mark. We’re not mourning a public determine. We’re not mourning a fable — however flesh and blood and ferocious coronary heart.” Sharon Stone wrote within the feedback: “My honest condolences to you and your loved ones.”

The White Lotus actor Walton Goggins, who co-stared with Madsen in The Hateful Eight, shared photographs with the actor on Instagram: “Michael Madsen… this man… this artist… this poet… this rascal…Fucking ICON…. Aura like nobody else. Ain’t sufficient phrases so I’ll simply say this…. I really like you buddy. A H8TER eternally,” he wrote.

Jennifer Tilly, Madsen’s The Getaway co-star, shared on X that he was “certainly one of my favourite actors I ever labored with.”

Billy Baldwin wrote on X: “Becoming that Michael Madsen would go away on 4th of July weekend. He was no firecracker… a complete stick of dynamite on display and in life. Relaxation simple my buddy.”
