Jamie Foxx may be a Grammy-winning musician and an Academy Award-winning movie star, but he’s always sure to remind you that he has deep roots in comedy. In fact, he has a new stand-up special titled Take Care of Yourself slated to premiere on Hulu on October 7. However, before we get to that special event, he stopped by the always entertaining podcast Baby, This Is Keke Palmer alongside his daughter Corinne Foxx. While the father/daughter talked about a number of things with host Keke Palmer, one of the funniest moments came when Jamie delivered over three minutes of back-to-back impressions of some of the world’s biggest celebrities. Ten celebs, to be exact.

Again, in a span of roughly three and a half minutes, the multi-hyphenate Foxx delivered 10 celebrity impressions on the Baby, This Is Keke Palmer episode that was released on August 25. The ten “subjects of comedy” were: Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Kanye West, Quincy Jones, Sidney Poitier, Quentin Tarantino, Gayle King, Jay-Z, Will Smith, Idris Elba
Considering how different these people are, each with their own tone, cadence, and speech pattern, the fact that Foxx was able to capture most of them with a fair amount of accuracy in under five minutes is nothing short of impressive. Check out the remarkably funny moment in the clip below.
Which Jamie Foxx Impression was the best on ‘Baby, It’s Keke Palmer’?
Of course, the answer to this question is going to be rather subjective. However, in my personal opinion, based on what was seen in the Palmer interview, Foxx’s impressions of Trump and Kanye are two that really stood out. I’ve seen Foxx impersonate the President of the United States before, and each time he does it, it’s comedy. And the Kanye one was new to me, but hearing it for the first time, it was entertaining to see Foxx peg his former collaborator’s unique way of speaking.
However, the winner was when The Ray actor captured Jay-Z nearly perfectly. I’m talking down to the very distinct laugh of the rapper. It was eerie, yet hilarious, to watch at the same time. Honestly, I could probably view five straight minutes of Foxx impersonating Jay-Z and be thoroughly amused. But this is just my opinion. Which is your favorite Foxx impression?
