Kevin Hart’s Vegan Restaurant Hart House Closes All Locations

Kevin Hart‘s vegan fast-food chain, Hart Home, has closed all its areas after simply two years.

“To our group, visitors, and group, who helped make the change all of us craved. A Hartfelt goodbye for now as we begin a brand new chapter,” the restaurant wrote on its official Instagram Tuesday.

Hart Home had 4 areas in Los Angeles County, together with Westchester, Monrovia, College Park and Hollywood. The menu featured plant-based burgers, “rooster” sandwiches and nuggets, salads, tater tots, milkshakes and extra.

“The response to the product has been unbelievable, and we thank our dedicated group, our prospects, and our group companions for serving to make the change all of us craved, and for his or her unwavering help of Hart Home,” CEO Andy Hooper shared in a press release to Eater LA.

Hart instructed The Hollywood Reporter in August 2022, forward of the plant-based restaurant chain’s opening, that he needed “to provide individuals a plant-based possibility” with Hart Home after noticing an absence of vegan decisions on the earth of quick meals. The actor and comic beforehand revealed in 2020 that he had adopted a largely plant-based weight loss program.

“If I can provide individuals a spot to have the choice that’s positioned smack dab in the midst of the place your McDonald’s, Chick-fil-A, and Burger King [are], individuals might even see a Hart Home and say, ‘I’m going to go plant-based right now,” Hart added on the time.

The rationale for the closures has not been publicly introduced. THR reached out to Hart’s rep for remark.
