WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Monday brings President Donald Trump’s first visit to the Wichita area in a decade. The president is expected to address a crowd Monday evening at Park City’s Heartland Credit Union Arena, an approximately 6,500-seat venue off 77th Street North, between Broadway and Interstate 135, in Park City.
Monday’s presidential appearance follows through on Trump’s promise for a “Kansas Style Rally” in support of Senator Roger Marshall.
The event features a program starting at 4:30 p.m., with the president expected to speak at 6 p.m. Doors open to the public at 2:30 p.m. Vehicles began lining up Sunday night.

Trump supporter Jason Waters was among the first in line.
“I came earlier to scout out the place and decided, ‘Well, maybe I should come now,” Waters told 12 News on Sunday night. “So, here I am, eight to 10 cars in line and I’m not leaving.”
The line grew substantially overnight, with several toward the front of the line setting up tents on Sunday.
Early Monday morning, one Trump supporter in line said he drove about two hours for the rally in Park City and was looking forward to fellowship surrounding the event.
“What am I hoping to see? You know, the camaraderie from the crowd, the love from the crowd,” he said. “It’s a feeling that’s hard to get anywhere else these days.”
The Trump supporter said he previously drove 13 hours to see the president.
