Other Buss siblings have ‘decided to sell’ Los Angeles Lakers stake despite Jeanie Buss’ opposition

The NBA world is watching as Jeanie Buss tries to stop the Buss family stake in the Los Angeles Lakers from being sold. As per their latest statement, her other siblings are intent on selling, though.

The Los Angeles Lakers are always in the headlines, but the current situation is tumultuous even for them. With Mark Walter selling his majority stake in the franchise, it seems the Buss family are also on their way out.

A report from Shams Charania on Monday suggested that the Buss siblings had agreed to sell their remaining 17.8 percent share to the new owners. However, Jeanie Buss’ lawyer immediately made it clear she was trying to stop it.

Jeanie and her siblings have had many issues over the years. And as she has seemingly publicly made her stance clear, so too have her siblings now doubled down on theirs.

Jeanie Buss is reportedly relying on a prior court verdict that indicates the consent of all co-trustees is required to execute the sale. However, her five siblings want to make sure they can go ahead with it.
