OKC earned a 96-84 home win over the Denver Nuggets on Thursday. Los Angeles fell short in a 125-117 road loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

Final: Thunder 108, Clippers 101 | OKC wins but loses Cason Wallace and Jalen Williams
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 34 points and 6 boards
- Ajay Mitchell: 18 points and 6 boards
- Isaiah Hartenstein: 12 points and 12 boards
- It’s hard for anyone inside Paycom Center to celebrate right now. Everyone’s thoughts are with Jalen Williams.
OKC Thunder star Jalen Williams was stretchered off the court late in the fourth quarter of a home game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.
Williams went up for a dunk at the 1:15 mark and was fouled by Kris Dunn, who was assessed a flagrant-1 foul. He then fell awkwardly on his left leg and immediately required help from the medical staff.
Williams gave two thumbs up while being stretchered off the court. He also received chants of “J Dub” from those inside Paycom Center, who are all wishing the best for the 25-year-old forward.
Williams played in just 33 games last season due to a nagging right shooting wrist injury and strains in both hamstrings. He then returned to full health this summer and showed flashes of his All-NBA skills to start this season, from shot creating to playmaking to defending.
End of the third quarter: Thunder 77, Clippers 76 | SGA hits 20-point mark in first game after record streak ends
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 27 points and 5 assists
- Isaiah Hartenstein: 12 points and 10 rebounds
- Alex Caruso: 8 points and 5 assists

Halftime injury update: Cason Wallace and Jaylin Williams ruled out for Thunder vs Clippers
From Thunder PR: Jaylin Williams (right wrist soreness) and Cason Wallace (left shoulder soreness) will not return to tonight’s game against the Clippers.
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 11 points and 3 rebounds
- Isaiah Hartenstein: 6 points and 7 rebounds
- Ajay Mitchell: 7 points and 4 rebounds
- SGA can’t beat the shot clock on a late 3-pointer, and Los Angeles enters halftime with the lead.
- Isaiah Hartenstein: 6 points and 5 rebounds
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 5 points and 3 rebounds
- Cason Wallace: 4 points and 3 rebounds
Not a pretty opening quarter for OKC offensively, but its defense continues to set the tone.
OKC Thunder guard Cason Wallace exited the first quarter of a home game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday due to a left shoulder injury.
Wallace drew an offensive foul on Isaiah Jackson, who was setting a screen, at the 6:22 mark. His left shoulder appeared to have popped out of its socket, as he went into the locker room for further evaluation.
OKC held a 14-12 lead at the time of Wallace’s departure. The 22-year-old guard had recorded four points, three rebounds and one steal in five minutes of action.
Wallace agreed to a five-year, $139 million rookie-scale contract extension with OKC on Oct. 18. He has started in every game so far this season, serving as the Thunder’s top point-of-attack defender.

Thunder vs Clippers predictions, picks
Justin Martinez: OKC 119, Los Angeles 95
OKC started its season with a pair of impressive wins against San Antonio and Denver. Next up is a home game against Los Angeles, which continues to be without Brandon Ingram (right heel surgery). Shai Gilgeous-Alexander should bounce back from his shooting struggles against the Nuggets, Chet Holmgren should continue to lead the way defensively and the Thunder’s depth should continue to be an advantage. Give me OKC at home.
